With school starting in just under a week, Los Angeles Unified School District officials unveiled its new electric school buses.
Superintendent Andrés E. Chait told KNX News’ Jon Baird that the district is “shifting more and more away from fossil fuels” and even shared what kind of amenities are featured in these buses.
“Our buses have WiFi so that students can access that on the ride,” he said. “We have GPS, and parents can now track their students' ride in real time.”
Parents can track the buses their kids are on by using the LAUSD mobile app.
