
RIVERSIDE (CNS) - A man was killed Sunday in a rollover crash on a Riverside freeway that was caused by excessive speed, authorities said.
The crash was reported at about 1:41 a.m. on southbound Interstate 15 at the Sixth street on-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP said a witness reported almost being struck by a speeding black Honda Accord. The car reportedly swerved and rolled over several times. The driver landed in the middle of the on-ramp and was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
No further information was immediately available.
