
LONG BEACH, Calif. (KNX) — A man who was stabbed to death during a brawl in Long Beach was identified Wednesday.
The fight was reported at 9 p.m. Sunday in the 3900 block of East Ocean Boulevard.

Long Beach Fire Department personnel were first to arrive on scene and provide aid to the wounded man, identified by county coroner’s officials as 33-year-old Gavin Glason.
Glason died at the scene, police said.
After interviewing witnesses, detectives learned Glason was involved in a fight with multiple suspects. During the brawl, Glason was battered and stabbed multiple times, police said.
The suspects fled the scene on foot before first responders arrived.
The motive for the stabbing is under investigation and police did not provide any suspect descriptions.
