L.A. police have asked for the region’s help tracking down a mom they said has been missing for two weeks.
Investigators said 39-year-old Heidi Planck was last seen Oct. 17 on Gardendale Street in Downey. Days later, she was expected to pick up her son from school but never showed.
“I’ve got a 10-year-old boy who’s just beside himself,” Jim Wayne, Planck’s former husband, told KNBC.
Police described her as 5’3”, 120 pounds with blue eyes and blonde hair. Witnesses told officers she had been wearing a grey sweater and driving a grey 2017 Range Rover when they last saw her. The SUV’s plate number is U840X0, police said.
