The woman was then taken to the hospital where she died from her injuries.

Police learned the car rolled out of a driveway, onto Glen Eagle Drive and went downhill. The woman “attempted to give chase” when she fell and was run over by the car, which caused her to get trapped.

The Petaluma Police Department Traffic Unit is investigating the collision at the time.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Traffic Officer David Hutchinson at 707-781-1290.
