The airport reported no power to jet bridges and that TSA stopped screening passengers in most terminals.

“Most of our terminals are impacted by the loss of power and crews are assessing the issue,” the airport continued. “Some departing flights may be impacted due to no power to jet bridges. Please allow extra time and check your flight status as we learn more.”

At 3:08 p.m., the airport tweeted most of the power was restored.

Just after 3:20 p.m., LADWP said service was restored and the systems were coming back online.

During the outage, some travelers inside the airport took to social media to share their experiences.

The cause of the power outage is unclear.
