Rescue teams continued their search for a missing boater off the coast of Redondo Beach Tuesday morning, after the person reportedly fell out of a small boat.
Witnesses reported the capsized dinghy Monday night near W Torrance Blvd., said the Lifeguard Division of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Monday morning teams conducted shoreline searches, rescue boat surface searches and sub-surface searches with dive teams.
LAFD shared images of a Marine Technical Search Team in an update mid-morning, as the crew used sonar and an underwater camera to search the Redondo Beach Pier. The search is ongoing.
