
LOS ANGELES (KNX) – Police are searching for a suspect in a deadly hit-and-run collision in South L.A.
On Sunday around 4:00 a.m., a car hit a male pedestrian on southbound Hoover Street at 74th Street, the Los Angeles Police Department said. The man was trying to cross the street at the time he was hit.
Police said the car “carried” the victim for nearly a block until 75th Street where the victim was left by the car.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was withheld, pending notification of his relatives.
Police described the car as a “possible silver sedan.”
