Meet Cain! Cain is a male Bull Terrier Mix, he's 6 years old and weighs around 58lbs. He was surrendered to the Guilford County Animal Shelter at the end of September because his last owner could no longer care for him properly. Cain came into the shelter with a mast cell tumor that has since been removed and he is currently under the medical care of our staff during his recovery. He is treat motivated, very smart and learns quickly. Cain has really come out of his shell since being at GCAS and is a very loving and gentle dog. Cain finds the shelter environment very stressful and really needs a human to call his family.
If you're looking for a companion, look no further than at your local animal shelter. Stop by, see the animals, and don't forget to love on Cain while you're there!
