Meet Perky Perkins! He is 2 years old, and is 48lbs of sweetness. Perkins is a Brindle Boxer Mix. He came into the shelter as a stray with a fractured leg due to an old injury. Unfortunately, one of his front legs had to be amputated because of the injury, but that has not slowed him down in the least! I wanna call him Tripod, he's so cute and sits so proudly in his picture. He's a happy boy who loves life and is ready for adventures with his new family. Perkins is goofy boy and can be a bit of a big puppy at times and will do best in a home with someone willing to take the time and help to train him/ Perkins has had positive interactions with other dogs here at the Guilford County Animal Shelter and played with a child who came in and he did really well with that as well.
