1.  After George Washington's presidency was over, he opened up a whiskey distillery in Virginia, and it quickly became the biggest one in the country. 

2.  There were Chryslers that had built-in record players from 1956 to 1958.  They malfunctioned so often that Chrysler dropped them after a few years.

3.  61.2% of the Americans who fought in World War Two were drafted.

4.  Broccoli has almost twice as much vitamin C as oranges.

5.  Astronauts can vote from space.  And not by absentee ballot . . . they vote on a computer that sends an encrypted message to the county clerk where they live.
