Five Things You Need To Know for Tuesday, January 5th, 2021:

1. Heads up parents!  Guilford County is suspending their mobile school bus meals as they begin to use the buses for back to school purposes.  

2. Abraham 'Avi' Loeb, a professor at Harvard says that back in 2017, our solar system was visited by an object that wasn't a space rock.  Now, I say take this as a grain of salt because it's just one guy BUT it's still interesting to think about. 

3. On this date in 1914, Henry Ford introduced a minimum wage scale of $5 per day.

4. And here comes Discovery+, a new streaming service that's $6.99 a month that has Discovery, HGTV and Food Network Shows.

5. (Fun Fact): The Stanley Cup can hold 23 beers.  (That's 23 12-ounce bottles . . . or just over two gallons.)
