Meet Diamond, a veteran resident at Guilford County Animal Shelter. She's a sweet pup looking for a loving home.
Diamond is a brown Brindle Boxer Mix, at 7 years old she moves like the wind! Diamond loves to play, especially when a toy is involved (peep the pictures).
Diamond has been at GCAS since July, she is Heartworm Positive, but is officially in the clear from her treatment. She is best with older kids (she's a jumper), and absolutely NO cats- she's a hunter! If you're looking for a companion, look no further than at your local animal shelter. You might just find a "Diamond in the ruff"!
*IMPORTANT*: GCAS had a stray dog come into their facilities with Canine Distemper, that dog has been quarantined and treated and the few other dogs that were indirectly exposed to it have been treated and placed in foster homes to be cared for during quarantine. The Canine Distemper outbreak at GCAS is fully under control and all dogs are happy, healthy, and ready to be adopted!
Be sure to stay up to date on the latest events!
