Wet Nose Wednesday: Meet Nina!

wuw_nina

Meet Nina! Nina is a very sweet 58lb Lab/English bulldog Mix, she is five years old and a total lover! She came to the Guilford County Animal Shelter as a stray  and shelter staff notes that while she was timid and unsure at first, Nina has really come out of her shell and is quite warm and affectionate now. She loves to snuggle her head into your body as you pet her. The GCAS staff fondly calls this gesture a “Nina Hug”. Nina is one of our longest serving residents and is heartworm positive. This is a curable condition, and she cannot transmit it to other animals. She is eligible for the Have-A-Heart program, which includes a 30% off voucher for heartworm treatment.

If you're looking for a companion, look no further than at your local animal shelter. Stop by, see the animals, and don't forget to love on Nina while you're there!
