1. Some National Weather Service offices around the country have stopped sending weather balloons into the atmosphere because of a helium shortage.
2. Brevard County, Florida police recently arrested Corey Johnson for driving a stolen pickup truck. He was heading to the Space Force Base in Brevard County to warn them about a battle between aliens and Chinese dragons. Johnson told the base's security guards that President Joe Biden told him he needed to warn everyone about the ensuing battle. Johnson was charged with Grand Theft.
3. A Thorndale, Texas school district is making headlines because they are going to require students to lock up their phones during the school day. The phones will be placed in a magnetically sealed pouch. Superintendent Adam Ivy says locking phones will reduce distractions and cyber bullying. Students, who don't lock their phones will face a $15 fine for each offense.
