2. ANOTHER Solar flare is striking the Earth today! The flare will create what NOAA calls a G1 Minor magnetic storm that is likely to cause auroras in the northern sky but could be seen as far south as Virginia.
3. Salt & Straw (an ice cream shop in Portland, Oregon) is selling Thanksgiving ice cream. They call their ice cream the "Friendsgiving Series". which includes Parker House Rolls w/ Salted Buttercream, Caramelized Turkey & Cranberry Sauce, Candied Walnut Cheesecake, Sweet Potato Pie w/ Double Baked Almond Streusel, and Pumpkin & Gingersnap Pie.
4. It's National Washing Machine Day - (Also, did you know Jet Dry helps dry your dishes? I didn't know this.
5. (Fun Fact) It's possible to be "de-knighted" in England . . . if you've committed a crime and are sentenced to at least three months in prison, the king or queen can de-knight you. Five people have been de-knighted in the past century.
