1. Krispy Kreme is giving away free green glazed donuts on March 16th and 17th. No purchase is necessary. Customers can get the free donut by wearing the color green to participating stores.
2. Uber is adding a fuel surcharge to rides and deliveries because of skyrocketing gas prices. Surcharges for Uber rides will cost between 45 cents and 55 cents per trip.
3. Bradford pear trees are taking over the area and NC State University wants to help limit the spread of them. NCSU wants to team up and help plant new trees in the spot that the old Bradfords were so they can handle the growth.
