Five Things for Monday:
1. Nabisco is bringing back S'mores-flavored Oreo cookies for a limited time. The S'mOreo's have marshmallow and chocolate cream sandwiched in between graham cracker-flavored cookies.
2. Christmas Tree Shops may soon file for bankruptcy. The company has 80 stores in twenty states mainly in the Midwest, Northeast and Southeast. Bed Bath & Beyond bought the home decor chain for $200 million in 2003. They then sold it for an undisclosed amount of money in 2020. Christmas Tree Shops mainly sell Christmas-themed goods.
3. Westlake, Ohio police recently arrested a man for shoplifting at a local Nordstrom Rack store. The man told cops that “his job was to steal from businesses, then contact them to advise the store what he had done and how to prevent future thefts.” He was charged with felony theft.
4. There are 6 days left until Mother's Day.
5. (Fun Fact): The oldest newspaper in the U.S. is the "Hartford Courant". It's been published without a break since 1764.
