Five Things for Tuesday:
1. Lucky Charms is bringing back their bags of dehydrated marshmallows which they are selling for $5.
2. Rebekkah Blue makes a living by burping into plastic bags. The social media influencer sells the bags for $100 a piece. She says, “You can order as many as you want. Some even request you to rub your tummy at the same time! The bigger and longer your burps are, the more money you can make with burp content. I eat a full meal that has some sort of onion in it, very fast, chug water and chase with the soda. Diet Dr. Pepper is my ideal choice — I’ve tried all sodas and this one acts the fastest. It can be taxing on my body which is why I price accordingly. And if the burps aren’t as pungent that day, I swallow as much air as I can, as fast as I can.”
3. On this date in 1941, General Mills began shipping a new cereal called "Cheerioats" to six test markets. The cereal was later renamed "Cheerios."
4. It's National Teacher Day.
5. (Fun Fact): The word "mortgage" is the combination of two old French words . . . "mort" and "gage" . . . which literally translate to "death pledge."
