1. Sears is closing 100 Sears Hometown stores in 30 states. Most of the stores sell appliances and lawn equipment.
2. Moon dust collected by the 1969 Apollo 11 astronauts is being auctioned off. The moon dust was once eaten by cockroaches as part of an experiment. The roaches were killed and dissected. Scientists found that the moon dust was not toxic. It is expected to sell for $400,000.
