1. NCDOT will be closing some ramps in Forsyth County this week, weather permitting (also this will be at night). Wednesday, July 7: Two of three lanes on I-40 West will be closed from Peters Creek Parkway (mile marker 191) to just west of Stratford Road (mile marker 189).
Wednesday-Thursday, July 7-8: The I-40 West ramp to Peters Creek Parkway (exit 192) will be closed for maintenance operations on bridges that cross over the ramps.
Thursday, July 8: Two of three lanes on I-40 West will be closed from U.S. 52 (mile marker 193) to just west of Stratford Road
2. The Hello Kitty Café truck is coming to the Friendly Center, Saturday, July 10th, from 10 a.m - 7 p.m between Sephora and Hallmark.
3&4. It's National Chocolate Day & Global Forgiveness Day
5. (Fun Fact): When margarine was first created, it was illegal to make it the same color as butter, so manufacturers dyed it yellow. But eventually, margarine became more popular than butter . . . so butter manufacturers started dying their butter yellow.
