Five Things for February 6, 2023:

1. Frito-Lay is hiking the price of its snacks by 10% to 11%. The company makes Cheetos, Doritos, Lays, Ruffles and Sunchips. The jump in price is due to supply chain issues.

2. Lowe's is now selling hardware-themed jewelry. Their diamonds are ethically sourced. Lowe's is selling gold-plated bolt earrings. They carry necklaces and pendants in the shape of rulers, ladders, drills, wrenches, saws, knobs, scissors and spark plugs. 3. TikTok user Jackie Vadurro was recently shocked after receiving a phone call from a homicide detective claiming that her 23andMe DNA test linked her to a cold case from 1986. Her DNA matched with a "Jane Doe" victim, who was either a second or third cousin that she never met. It was the biggest break that authorities had in years. Jackie joked that she felt like she was in the middle of a "Dateline" episode. "I was so taken aback. I knew I hadn't done anything wrong. But when the police call you about a murder, you're like, 'Oh my goodness, what am I involved in?'"

4. It's National Valentine Shopping Reminder Day.

5. Pizza Hut uses 3% of all the cheese produced in the U.S.
