1. I've never used this unit of measurement before but, an asteroid the size of "3,500 McDonald's Big Macs" is set to fly by Earth today and is traveling at 17,380 MPH. Which is the same speed as the dragstrip between Greensboro and Burlington.
2. I called it when I first heard this was coming out but the Super Mario Bros Oreos have SOLD OUT! These special cookies were embossed with Super Mario characters on them.
3. It's National Workaholics Day. How many of these people do we know, hun?
4. I KNOW we're in the thick of summer but we only have 123 days left until Daylight Savings Time ends and seasonal depression kicks in.
5. (Fun Fact): The actors who voiced Mickey and Minnie mouse got married in real life. Russi Taylor (Minnie) and Wayne Allwine (Mickey) tied the knot in 1991.
