1. Let’s dive into something local! Krispy Kreme donut shops will offer a free glazed donut today to anyone, who shows up with a lottery ticket from last night's Mega Millions lottery jackpot. Krispy Kreme is calling their promotion Mega Glaze Days.
2. How much do you love your pet? Found out, 58% of people would donate a kidney to their pet if they could according to Petsmart Charities
3. 7-Eleven surprised everyone yesterday by bringing back their Pumpkin Spice Latte earlier than Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts. They are offering customers the option of doubling up on pumpkin syrup.
4. Bed Bath & Beyond is returning as an online retailer. It's recent buyer, Overstock.com, is changing its name to Bed Bath & Beyond. No word on when a new website will launch.
5. (Fun Fact): The little layer of chocolate in between the wafers in a Kit Kat bar is actually recycled Kit Kats. When Kit Kats that don't look quite right come off the line, they're ground up into paste and reused in future bars.
