After packing the early afternoon slot at the Windy City Smokeout in Chicago, Josh Ross joined Scotty Kay backstage to talk about his first number 1 song on Country radio, the difference between success in Canada and the U.S., and what he learned from Luke Bryan on tour.

"I won't get into it too much because I'll probably get emotional about it," Ross says about "Single Again" being his first number 1 song. "It's been a marathon, and again it's been all the people that, you know, have worked so hard and I wouldn't want it any other way. I think we might set the record for the longest that it's taken, but it's been the coolest to watch that crowd grow and watch the song grow, and I'm very grateful for Country radio and all the people that have been involved."
