Numerous artists have taken to social media speaking out against the killing of George Floyd by a Minneapolis police officer. From sending out calls for justice, messages of solidarity to peaceful protesters, and expressing support for the black community, musicians are using their platform to speak out.

Billie Eilish
Eilish ripped those saying "aLL liVeS maTtEr" in a lengthy Instagram post. "If I hear one more white person say "aaLL liVeS maTtEr" one more f****** time I'm gonna lost my f****** mind."
Lady Gaga
Gaga sent out a message of support to the black community this time and called for people to come together peacefully and speak with one another.
Tim McGraw
McGraw shared a photo with a diverse group of hands huddled up on one another saying "Nobody's ever improved on the ideal that all are created equal and that we should love one another as we love ourselves…."
Maren Morris
Morris posted a graphic featuring the lyrics to her song "Dear Hate" along with a broken heart emoji.
Garbage
The Madison, Wisconsin group spoke out against the killing of George Floyd and police brutality. "Please help put an end to police brutality against black and brown civilians. Minneapolis you've got to step up."
Adam Lambert
"When it comes to matters of human rights, I refuse to support any opposition," Lambert wrote in an Instagram post.
Dan + Shay
The duo spoke out against racism in a lengthy tweet writing, "it is truly devastating to think that someone could carry so much hate… Racism and discrimination because of someone's skin color is simply just WRONG."
Jimmie Allen
Allen spread a message of love in a tweet saying "I challenge everyone to love each other and let our hearts speak louder than the injustice. Love so hard that it suffocates the hate."
Lady Antebellum
"Our hope is that we all take the time to listen, educate ourselves, have difficult conversations and make changes through our own actions," the group wrote on Twitter.

The country group preached kindness and compassion telling people "There is no basement we can crawl into to protect ourselves from this storm. We can only listen to it and learn from it as it tears a path through our lives."

"This system is failing the people it should protect. Where is the accountability?" Halsey wrote on Twitter.

Dave Matthews Band preached a message of peace and pledged "to do everything we can to stand with those who can no longer stand for themselves."
Celine Dion
Celine Dion spoke out against the killing of George Floyd saying, "the injustice breaks my heart… It's not enough to be non-racist, we must be anti-racist."

The Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist wrote in a tweet, "the world will be in a good place when I can chill and listen to Biz Marke do Albee Square Mall without thinking about how badly my humans are suffering."
