We're back with another installment of 7 Rock songs you need to hear right now and this month's picks are songs you're going to want to listen to loud.
From veteran rockers, to newcomers that have burst onto the scene, here are 7 Rock songs that need to be added to your playlist right now.
1.Five Finger Death Punch – Darkness Settles In
Five Finger Death Punch gives us the perfect opening track on this playlist as the slow, melodic buildup takes awhile to reach its climax. Once it does, get ready, it's an anvil of rock that drops straight on your head. Catch "Darkness Settles In" in the upcoming horror film The Retaliators later this year.
2.Chevelle – Mars Simula
Fans waited five years to hear a new album of original music from Chevelle and it was worth the wait. The band released their ninth studio album NIRATIAS this past March as "Mars Simula" stands out as one of the best on the record. From a grooving verse to a headbanging chorus, this track has it all.
3.All Good Things w/Hollywood Undead – For The Glory
For a band that wants to take rock and stretch to its epic limits, "For The Glory" shows exactly what that sounds like. With a bombastic, pulsating bass groove, "For The Glory" certainly lives up to All Good Things' ambitions of creating anthemic rock.
4.Mammoth WVH – Don't Back Down
Wolfgang Van Halen's debut record is certainly something we're looking forward to, but the music video for "Don't Back Down" makes us giddy to see what other creative ventures he has up his sleeve. The song is awesome, not much more to say about that. However, the music video features an army of Wolfgang Van Halen clones and it's something you need to watch.
5.Royal Blood – Typhoons
If there's one band that's going to soundtrack the apocalypse, it has to be Royal Blood. The music video serves a commentary on the current climate crisis as the duo plays high atop a parking structure all while chaos caused by a typhoon ensues around them.
6.Atreyu feat. Travis Barker - Warrior
Atreyu is set to return with their first new album in three years in June and gave fans an exciting sneak peek at what's to come when they released "Warrior." The track features Travis Barker as the drummer takes center stage halfway through the song with a drum line.
7.Beartooth – The Past is Dead
Want an over the top music video that features everything we love about rock 'n' roll? You've got one with Beartooth's "The Past is Dead" video. There's fire, lots of it, epic shots that match the epicness of the chorus. The song is a headbanger and comes from the band's upcoming debut album Below, due out June 25.
