Papa Roach's 2025 opener “Even If It Kills Me” arrives as a welcome return to the band's Alternative / Hard Rock roots, just as they kick off the U.K. and European leg of their worldwide Rise Of The Roach Tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of their iconic breakthrough album INFEST, with more shows to be added soon.
"This song 'Even If It Kills Me' means so much to me... This song is about love, this song is about sacrifice, this song is about putting someone else's needs before your own," frontman Jacoby Shaddix tells us. "The band was working on this song probably about a year and a half ago, and they sent me the demo, and as soon as I heard the riff -- right off the bat I was like, 'Oh... I'm in!' It was one of those 'I didn't have to think twice' moments," he adds. "I'm so glad that we finished this one because it set the bar super high for the rest of the music that we were then to write."
"I'm just so excited for the fans to hear this one," says Shaddix. "I think they're gonna love it as much as we do. We're always looking for one of those songs that we can open a show with and this is that song. It's got that cinematic; it's got that drama... It's off the chain and I cant wait for the fans to see the video for this one too!"
