The NHL's new collective bargaining agreement states that teams are not permitted to disclose any injury or health information regarding players.

If a player gets hurt or sick, the team can only state that they are "unfit to play."

After the scrimmage yesterday, head coach Mike Sullivan told the media that they are "not permitted to comment."

With the new regulations, it is unclear why Crosby left yesterday's scrimmage, and no updates will be given until he returns to play or practice.

Early speculation was the Crosby left the game as a precautionary measure.
