
PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - We’re under a month away until pitchers and catchers report to Bradenton, FL for 2019 Spring Training, and to get you in the baseball mood, the Pirates will hold their annual PiratesFest at PNC Park January 26.
Fans will get a chance to meet current Pirates Corey Dickerson, Steven Brault, Josh Bell, Jameson Taillon, a returning Jung Ho Kang and more as well as 1960 World Series hero Bill Mazeroski.
Other alumi will also be signing autographs.
The Bucs will also be looking for the next be star to sing the National Anthem before a Pirates game in 2019 with the “Oh Say Can You Sing” Auditions in the Green Room.
The Pirates are also bringing back the popular “Ask Pirates Management” Q and A in the Lexus club. In addition there will also be Q and A sessions with Pirates coaches, pitchers, broadcasters, hitters and a kids only “Ask A Pirate”
In addition to the funds being collected from the autograph sessions, the Pirates will also be collecting unwrapped toys for children ages 3-14 for the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Annual Toy Drive. Anyone who drops off a toy or donates $10 or more will get a pair of Pirates Charities fuzzy socks.
