PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - A man that is synonymous with the Pittsburgh Steelers will be the one to introduce the team’s first draft pick on Thursday.
“Mean” Joe Greene, the mean that helped turn the Steelers into one of the greatest franchises in NFL history will take to the podium to announce the team’s #1 draft pick in Nashville.
Greene told Steelers.com “Since my draft day, more than 50 years ago, to be here and to announce the Pittsburgh Steelers No. 1 draft choice is very humbling, very humbling.”

April 24, 2019 Greene won’t be the only Steelers legend to announce a draft pick. Two modern day Steelers vets, Santonio Holmes and Brett Keisel will announce the second and third round picks respectively.
