Now that the dust has settled, Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph has been fined $50,000.
The fine comes on the tail of the Thursday Night Football scuffle that erupted between Rudolph and Browns defensive end Myles Garrett.
The fight occurred at the very end of the Browns and Steelers Week 11 bout.
Mason Rudolph did little to de-escalate an aggressive situation, which resulted in Garrett swinging Rudolph's helmet tomahawk-style and hitting the quarterback's head.
Rudolph and Garrett were tangled up beforehand, which resulted in Rudolph getting his helmet ripped off.
All parties have been fined and/or suspended at this point.
Myles Garrett was suspended indefinitely, Maurkice Pouncey and Larry Ogunjobi were suspended for two games and one game, respectively, for their involvement.
Garrett has since appealed his indefinite suspension, to no avail.
Garrett also alleged a racial slur was used, which led to the reactionary response.
No evidence was found to support that claim, according to the NFL.
Rudolph avoided suspension but was slapped with the fine.
