A new study from WalletHub used number of NFL and college teams in the area, ticket prices for NFL games and how friendly fans are. Pittsburgh finished with a total score of 63.49 ranking 1st for NFL fans and 13th for college football fans.

Pittsburgh fans are also tied for 1st with Green Bay for “Most Engaged NFL Fans”.
Penn State fans tied Clemson fans for “Most Engaged College Football Fans.”
