The Penguins organization will follow the guidelines set by the Phase 2 protocol of the NHL's Return to Play Plan, those of the CDC, as well as their own additional safety measures.
Players will train in groups of 6 and they must remain socially distant on and off-ice. There will also be specific arrival and departure times for the groups.
Specific procedures have also been set up at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex: the player lounge and common areas will be closed off, there will be non-contact points of entry/exit to the building, and the building/practices will not be open to the public or media.
The team asks fans to not congregate on the property, and that autographs will not be permitted.
The voluntary skates session will be similar to past year's training camps, and coaches will not be permitted on the ice.
