PASADENA (93.7 The Fan) - The Oregon Ducks win the Rose Bowl over the Wisconsin Badgers with a final score of 28-27.
The 2020 Rose Bowl was represented by the No. 6 Ducks and the No. 8 Badgers.
The Ducks spent most of the game behind the 8-ball as the Badgers commanded a lead until late in the fourth quarter.
The Ducks scored a touchdown in each quarter but spent most of the game losing after the Badgers jumped to an early lead.
The Ducks, however, controlled their own fate as helmsman Justin Herbert scored on a fourth-quarter scramble to give Oregon the advantage about halfway through the final quarter.
Herbert, who has prospects as a first-round talent in the 2020 NFL Draft, used his athleticism to make a 30-yard dash on the aforementioned scramble to give the Pac-12 champs just the push they needed to seal a win.
Herbert had three rushing touchdowns on the night.
Both Herbert and Wisconsin quarterback Jack Coan each threw a pick, too.
Wisconsin's star running back, Jonathan Taylor, carried the ball 21 times for 94 yards and eclipsed the 2,000-yard mark for the second year in a row.
It is surely a bittersweet moment for both Herbert and Taylor as it is likely the last time they'll both be in college uniforms.
Both are highly touted going into the draft season and will likely be high picks.
