PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - The Penguins "Learn to Play Dek Hockey" program is coming back again this summer.
The program that launched last year is expanding for 2019. It is designed as a first experience for kids interested in dek hockey and focuses on drills and scrimmages
Registration begins Tuesday and must be completed online. The cost is $65.
Participants will receive gear from head-to-toe including a helmet, hockey stick, hockey gloves, shin guards and Learn to Play t-shirt.
Equipment pickup will be at your selected rink before your first scheduled session.

"Each program will consist of six learn to play sessions designed to introduce beginners to the sport of dek hockey in a fun and safe environment," the Penguins website said.
