The team joined with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to give kids the opportunity of a lifetime, and be a part of the Penguins for a day.

Michael Sexton, Allison Urciuoli, Brayden Veenis, Jessica Goddard, Hughes Fleming, and Morgan Thrush were signed to one-day contracts by general manager Jim Rutherford and were around the rest of the team for most of the daily routine.
