Pitt's George Aston probably went too far in the mind of many Penn State fans Thursday.
The Panthers full back is playing in the NFLPA's Collegiate Bowl this Saturday at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California on the National Team alongside Penn State linebacker Koa Farmer and safety Nick Scott.
In a video on social media, Aston got ahold of one of his Penn State teammate's helmets and put a big gold Pitt script sticker on the side of the PSU helmet.

— George Aston (@george__aston) January 17, 2019One of the traditions of the all-star game is players trading helmet decals but it's unknown if Farmer and/or Scott are aware the normally all white with a blue stripe Nittany Lion helmet now has a Pitt insignia on it!
Pitt and Penn State wrap up their four game revival of the "Keystone Classic" September 14 at State College. Penn State has won the last two meetings.
