NEW YORK (93.7 The Fan) - According to a report, The New York Jets are looking to trade running back Le’Veon Bell.
The New York Daily News reports that the Jets are looking to deal Bell and unload a big part of their salary.
While the Jets reportedly want to free up some cap space, they will only make a move if it’s a good deal.
There are a number of teams reportedly interested in the former Steelers running back.
Through seven games Bell has rushed 109 times for 349 yards averaging only 3.2 yards per carry, a career low.
He is also averaging 5.8 yards per catch, another career low.
Bell signed a four year deal worth $52.5 million with $27 million guaranteed.
Bell's salary counts for $8.97 million against the cap this season.
It was reported back in March that Jets coach Adam Gase did not want to sign Bell.
The NFL trade deadline is 4:00 p.m. Tuesday.
