According to MLB Network insider Jon Heyman, the Pirates are in talks with both the Mets and Padres.
The 31-year-old Marte has spent his entire career in Pittsburgh.
Over eight seasons with the Pirates, Marte has a lifetime .287 batting average and batted .295 last seson with 23 home runs.
Projections for the 2020 season have Marte batting .277 with 20 home runs and 69 RBI.
