He feels that it's because of today's endless amount of sports on television, the use of professional athletes, and a change in fan interest have all hurt the Olympics. Paul mainly feels that the Olympics haven't been the same since the advent of modern sports television because the sports fan already has games on every night and that has naturally taken interest away from the Olympics.
