PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) - The Pittsburgh Penguins are showing their support for healthcare workers on the front lines of the coronavirus on National Nurses Day.
Current and former players joined General Manager Jim Rutherford in holding up their jerseys with a nurse's name replacing their own on the back.
Goaltenders Matt Murray and Tristan Jarry were joined by former players Tyler Kennedy and Sergei Gonchar holding up jerseys honoring nurses.
According to the National Day Calendar website, May 6 is the beginning of National Nurses Week which ends on May 12.
