The Heinz Red Zone will stick around at Acrisure Stadium after a verbal agreement was made on a 5-year contract, the Steelers confirmed to The Fan Thursday evening.

Ryan Huzjak, the Steelers Vice President of Sales and Marketing, told the Post-Gazette they are happy to continue working with Heinz.

The financial terms of the deal were not released to the public. It's being reported one of the ketchup bottles will stick around as well.

This comes after the Heinz Field sign was removed on Wednesday morning, as well as the aforementioned ketchup bottles prior to that.

93.7 the Fan’s Andrew Fillipponi broke the news on July 11 that the Pittsburgh Steelers signed a new deal for Acrisure Stadium to become the new name of the Steelers’ home.

The news was met with controversy amongst the Steelers’ faithful, including Ben Roethlisberger.

The deal will last for 15 years.
