NFL insider Jason La Canfora from Casino dot org joined the show. Jason firmly believes the Steelers will be very ‘in’ on the 2026 trade deadline and that could include Garrett Wilson, despite others saying the Jets won’t trade the WR, or certainly won’t trade him to the Steelers. Jason doesn’t buy into Wilson ‘wanting to play his whole career with the Jets’ or anything like that. Jason made sure to mention that Mike Tomlin would be the apple of the Jets’ eye if they move on from Aaron Glenn this off-season. What would his contract look like if he returned to coaching? Jason doesn’t think the Jags will be afraid to send Brian Thomas Jr. to another AFC contender, but the team may not be giving up on him after all. Jason suggested that the Jags would want a player back in return. Jason said Ladd McConkey is the type of slot WR that Aaron Rodgers would like working with. Jason doesn’t think we should avoid the chatter about Lamar Jackson possibly playing his final snap with the Ravens. The Lamar question led to a fiery answer from Jason – basically saying the team has done Lamar such a disservice that he should have no desire to sign there. Jason predicted that the Ravens will trade for Jacoby Brissett in an attempt to save their season. Jason, an Orioles fan, also shared some thoughts on the latest MLB proposal.
