We have more of an idea of what the Joey Porter Jr. contract offer details looked like. The Steelers, reportedly, guaranteed him $42M, which had him on the level of guys most Steelers fans probably never heard of. The guys understand why Porter would view that as disrespectful. The Steelers gave DK Metcalf $60M guaranteed and had a chance to get out of that deal after the debacle in Detroit, but didn’t. The guys went through some other wastes of big money on the roster, especially Patrick Queen, who was clearly making business decisions of his own on Thursday night.
