He scored 7 points last season. TK talked about the cheap contract he signed to stay with the Penguins in a year he scored 20+ goals. Tyler said the points don’t lie and he’s unsure why the Penguins would offer this deal. TK thinks Koivunen can eclipse 20 goals, but it’s a risk of a signing. Did it make other guys more valuable? Tyler said this is a big deal for someone like Ben Kindel and how he can leverage his performance for a new contract down the road.
