The NFL is full of parity. 19 teams are between 2-4 and 4-2 to begin the season. It’s the same for the Audacy Pittsburgh Fantasy Football League.
No team is worse than 2-4 and just one team (Kosher Nostra, 5-1) is better than 4-2. Which means there’s a lot of middle ground left to be fought over. Let’s check out what happened in Week 6...

HIGHLIGHTS
Who’s In Charge Here?: Whoever it is between Joe Starkey, Joe “Horse” Kapp and Andrew Brncic, they’re on a heater and they shouldn’t be relinquished of their duties. In fact, it is Brncic at the controls and he said he was hearing some complaints coming from the Joe’s on their collective performance.
Well don’t look now but Bishop Sycamore might just be the hottest team in the league. They scored the highest point in the league this week, en route to a 145.28-126.40 victory. The win was their second straight as they starting to find their stride. 31.60 points from CeeDee Lamb and another 27.70 from Leonard Fournette.
It is Brncic who runs the day to day operations of the team and he said he fielded doubt all week long from his other teammates. The questions him the whole way through, but with another win, Bishop Sycamore has clawed it’s way to .500 on the season and right in the thick of the battle.
Fan Morning Squad Hands Sunday Grinders 3rd Consecutive Loss: It was the classic, “Well, if they’re going to score, at least that guy scored” scenario for The Fan Morning Squad Sunday night while watching Alex Collins rack up a surprising 101 yards rushing with a touchdown, good for 16.30 fantasy points.
Jonathan Taylor also boomed for the 2nd week in a row scoring 28.30 points, while they got 28 points from the Colts D/St and Chris Boswell.
On the other side, the Sunday Grinders continue their roller coaster season. After winning two in a row to get to 2-1, they’ve dropped three straight to fall to 2-4. To add injury to insult, Kareem Hunt is now out multiple weeks and will join fellow RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire on their IR.
PM Team Squeaks By: Last week they said “they’re back” after a 1-3 start to the season. They proved to be right this week as they kept their momentum going with another victory to pull themselves up to .500 (3-3). The win didn’t come without some stress, though.
Stefon Diggs nearly ruined their week when he put up 19.40 points on Monday night against the Titans. One more catch would have sealed their fate, but The PM Team…Team escaped with 106-104.78 win. They’ve jumped from the last place team to 7th out 12 over the past two weeks.
Trap Game: After knocking off a then 3-1 Fan Morning Squad, Dorin Dickerson and Cale Berger’s CBDD didn’t follow the victory very well. In fact, they were the biggest dud of the week, scoring a league-low 82.60 in a 21-point loss to a 2-3 team.
Both their WR’s, RB’s and their TE didn’t get into double digits in scoring.
The Bench Strikes Again: And disappointment strikes again for Paul Zeise and 93.7 The Fan boss Michael Spacc. Zeise Is King was the only other team outside of CBDD not to break 100 points scored this week and still only lost by 9 points.
What makes it worse? Zeise left Jaylen Waddle’s 24, Marvin Jones Jr.’s 19.50 and Darrel Williams’ 22.40 point outputs on the bench.
