Week 5 of the NFL season was one that many teams around the Audacy Pittsburg h Fantasy Football League used to keep their seasons on the rails and stay in the hunt. It’s tight through the first five weeks, folks. Let’s look at what happened…

HIGHLIGHTS
The PM Team Has Their Best Showing of the Year: On the ropes at 1-3 heading in, The PM Team…Team needed a spark. They needed hope. They needed light at the end of the tunnel.
In came Justin Herbert on his white horse against the Browns defense. The Chargers QB racked up 42.82 points with five total touchdowns.
Andrew Fillipponi says, “We’ve got the best quarterback in the NFL. Print that.”
Herbert had some help from his friends as well. Antonio Brown (27.90), Alvin Kamara (26.70) and James Robinson (21.20) all put up 20+ point performances as The PM Team…Team posted the weekly league-high 151.22 point total in the biggest rout of Week 5. Crisis averted, big W on the board.

For Immediate Release:
Pittsburgh, Pa (October 13, 2021)- The following statement was released today by The PM Team, through their personal attorney and business manager. In response to questions about the demise of their fantasy team.
“We’re back.”
Chris Mueller added, “For further comment, please call 888-98-TWINS.”
Midday’s Bishop Sycamore Beats A 3-1 Team: It was a similar situation for Joe Starkey, Joe “Horse” Kapp and Andrew Brncic’s Bishop Sycamore squad this week. They were facing the same 1-3 adversity with an even tougher opponent ahead of them.
But they, too, responded with a 150.48 outburst and 29-point victory. It was a full team effort, as no player scored more than 22.40 points (Kyle Pitts), but Bishop Sycamore had everyone score in double digits except their kicker.
Last week, Joe Starkey delivered a shot across the bow at team manager Andrew Brncic, accusing him of “coaching like Tom Cable.” It looks like the message was received well and it lit a fire under young Brncic.
“It was a big comeback week for us as a team, our players played well and we are looking to build momentum off of this one and start stacking wins. I attribute a lot of our success to my fellow managers, they continue to drive me to make better moves as a coach,” Brncic said.
Taking the high road, as usual.
Top-Ranked Fan Morning Squad Stumbles : They came at the top of the standings in Week 5, but Dorin Dickerson and Cale Berger’s CBDD didn’t care.
In what ended up being the closest matchup of the week, Jonathan Taylor’s 30.40 point, 2021 breakout party wasn’t enough to buoy the morning boys to a win. CBDD beat them 112.26-109.56 behind solid performances from Aaron Rodgers and Ja’Marr Chase, as well Austin Ekeler’s big 30.40 point day.
The win keeps CBDD in the hunt at 2-3, while The Fan Morning Squad falls to 3rd place in the league at 3-2.
Zeise Is Hot! : And it’s not from an angry rant. Yet another team coming into the week 1-3, Zeise Is King scored 149.34 behind Davante Adams’ 32.10 and 20 point performances from Joe Burrow and Antonio Gibson. It was the Sunday Grinders of Josh Taylor, Shelby Cassesse and Greg Finley who fell victim and dropped to 2-3 on the year.
