PITTSBURGH (93.7 the Fan) Teams around the NFL this offseason have been making moves that have left people scratching their heads in confusion.
Pro Football Focus (PFF) created a list of their least favorite decision made by each of the 32 NFL teams.
The Pittsburgh Steelers made a few personnel decisions that could have made the list, but PFF planted their flag with a certain veteran.
PFF’s least favorite Steelers’ move of the offseason was bringing back franchise quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
Citing that Big Ben just turned 39-years-old and there have been signs of a decline since 2018.
According to PFF, Roethlisberger earned a 75.2 passing grade in 2018, and in 2020 ranked 24th in the league with a 69.0 rating.
A restructured contract gives the Steelers and Roethlisberger one last ride for the 2021 season.
