The Cleveland Browns can’t do anything right, but we may have to give them a little credit on this one.
The Browns unveiled a new helmet on Tuesday and it pretty nice looking.
It’s a white helmet with an orange and brown stripes in the middle.
The Browns say on their website they are a “true throwback look” based on their look when then debuted in 1946.
It’s the first time the Browns will be a non-orange helmet in 70 years.
And the all-white uniforms and helmet will debut in Pittsburgh when the Browns face the Steelers at Acrisure Stadium on Monday night.
They’ll also wear the all-white threats two more times.
It’s part of the team’s “White Out Series” that is presented by DUDE Wipes.
"We're super fired up and really excited to have this opportunity to wear an alternate helmet," Executive Vice President and Partner JW Johnson said. "We decided to go with the white helmet for a couple reasons — it harkens back to our past, and a lot of our greatest players wore white helmets. We also heard from our fans that it was the direction they wanted. We always want to continue having great fan interaction and deliver for them as much as we possibly can."
Nice uniforms, but the Browns still suck.
Your move, Steelers? How about some block lettering?
